LOCAL OPTIONS. PRACTICAL PLANS.

About SubeR

A clearer starting point for local plans.

SubeR brings local services, food, transport and places to stay into one place, with practical tools to help plan the next step. Canada comes first, with coverage in selected locations that is still growing.

Published details. Clear limits.

Free directory listings are based on published business information. Source links and review dates help you see where details came from. A listing is not a recommendation or proof of qualifications, insurance or current availability. Confirm the work, service area, price and arrangements directly with the business.

Your plans. Direct contact.

SubeR helps you discover options and prepare questions. Bookings, service agreements and payments are arranged directly with the provider.

Municipal winter links come from the responsible road authority. Their maps do not confirm that a particular driveway or windrow has been cleared.

Questions, corrections and business enquiries

Found something out of date? Use “Report a listing issue” on the relevant business card.

Listing requests, sponsorship enquiries and other business questions use the existing enquiry form. Sponsorship is separate from free listings, is handled by quote and does not imply endorsement. An enquiry does not publish a listing or purchase advertising.

Section counts and your personal list

Most visited on this browser records future SubeR section opens locally, not your browser history. This personal list is never uploaded. Pause or Clear & pause affects only these counts, not bookmarks, appearance or other saved information.

Popular on SubeR is separate: eligible public hubs may send only a fixed section ID to SubeR’s own server for daily totals. No visitor ID, cookies, search text, location, page URL or tool inputs are included. It adds no third-party tracker. Deep tools and private-input pages do not contribute. Hosting still handles normal requests and may retain operational logs.

Recorded opens can include repeats and bots, omit opt-outs and be limited by safeguards; they are not unique visitors or a complete traffic ranking. Use Privacy & storage or the public-hub contribution control to opt out of future shared counts. Browser DNT/GPC signals also keep contributions off.

Lightweight theme & previous photo credits

SubeR now uses one CSS-only theme across the site, with a subtle abstract pattern and your choice of plain, dots or grid. Background photographs, background-photo uploads, weather-photo loading and retries are no longer used. Existing saved photo records stay in your browser but are not read or displayed. Colours, brightness, bookmarks, layout, weather locations and clocks remain separate.

Credits for previously bundled decorative photographs are retained below. They are not live views or weather observations. Genuine article, game and learning images remain part of their content.
