Limits & local privacy

This is a placement study, not a survey, clearance test or building approval. It cannot confirm setbacks, foundations, drainage, roots, doors, roof overhangs or privacy screening. Objects in the photo are not depth-masked.

Quick placement keeps model proportions but does not match the camera perspective or measured ground scale. A correctly marked measured rectangle maps only the same flat plane; results outside it are extrapolated. Shed height remains approximate.

Photo processing runs in this browser only. Selected photos are resized and re-encoded locally; original filenames and embedded metadata are not retained. Full photos leave memory when the page closes. Saved previews and placement data use this browser’s local storage. No analytics, photo uploads or external API calls are included in this tool.

Keyboard: focus the photo, then use arrows to nudge. Hold Shift for finer moves. Escape cancels a drag. Undo reverses changes.
