Food privacy

Recipes, favourites and shopping lists stay in this browser. Lists from TAIAIO do not move automatically to SubeR.

If you have already allowed device location for SubeR, the page can prepare a rounded area in memory automatically. This preparation does not send location to SubeR or Geoapify. Press Search to use that area, or enter a different place. A first location request still requires your browser’s permission.

A place search shares the entered place with Geoapify. A nearby search also sends the selected cuisine category and radius; the freeform food question, budget and service preferences are not sent. Device coordinates are rounded to two decimal places before search; a one-time precise device fix stays only in this page’s memory for the You are here dot and accuracy circle, and is not saved or included in search requests. Clear, editing the area or leaving the page removes it. The dot is not live tracking. Map tiles load from OpenStreetMap when the map is opened and reveal the viewed area, including when you show your location. Search may check public food-business registers in New York and Montréal.

Restaurant data is not saved for offline use. Recipe files may be stored by the Food app for offline access. Opening a retailer, delivery, directions or offer link sends you to that external service.

Restaurant search is enabled with a conservative shared allowance. The app does not purchase plans or provide an account-level no-charge guarantee.

Feedback is optional. With your consent, your suggestion, category and Food page path are saved in SubeR’s private database for the site owner, with a submission reference, consent version and time. No name or email is requested, no email notification is sent, and feedback is not sent to an external form service. The feedback feature does not record IP addresses or location. Please leave out personal or sensitive information. Feedback remains saved until the owner removes it; this form does not offer automatic deletion.

ⓘ Separate section counts. Opening the public Food hub may contribute only the Food section ID to SubeR’s optional daily totals. Search text, location, page URLs, preferences and tool inputs are not included. This uses no visitor ID or cookies and is separate from Food search and feedback. The personal Most visited list stays in this browser, not your full browser history. Control shared contributions in SubeR Privacy & storage; DNT/GPC signals also keep them off.
